OO This P.M. May and I played tennis against each other and against various people. Some how we don’t seem to be playing as well as we did last year in doubles I wonder how the match will be tomorrow? In the track meet this P.M. the Freshmen got 54 points and the Sophs 49.
This evening Ralph and I went to the Eurodelphia New Girls contest. It was good but long. Belle Arthur only got second place. Helen Balch got first.
My it was hot the Raspberry ice tasted fine afterwards.

OO. This P.M. Max & I played off or “doubles” tournament with Esther and Elizabeth Hay. My it was close I thought sure we would loose[sic] it Oh we played and played. Every set was duce[sic] and most every game also. We finally won score 7-5, 5-7, 7-5. It was too strenuous and too much of a suspense and too narrow a margin for comfort or pleasure though. Oh I wonder if I will win in singles. If I can win here I don’t need to fear anything in the M.I.I.A.
