Class Party for “Jimmy”

Went to school had an awful German test today  Oh I wonder if I will pass German this year. This P.M. in Chemistry lab I was trying to jam a cork into a test tube and I crushed the tube all to pieces and cut my finger most to the bone. It was quite exciting. Then Ralph and I took a walk and I saw a beautiful turkey gobler[sic]. This evening the Sophomore class gave a party in honor of “Jimmy” Houloose our last years president who has been away this year. It seemed awfully good to see him again and he certainly did appreciate it. I acted in a “Shipwreck” that was a sherade[sic] on his name. Then we had a shadow picture “romance in two flats” that was very funny and clever with the two photographers victrolas. We had pineapple ice and maccarones[sic] for refreshments and everybody seemed to have a good time.

I came home with Mr. Hickmoot! Hurrah I like him, Really he’s a fine fellow and I imagine theres a lot to him.
